FotoFest seeks self-motivated and dedicated individuals considering careers in the arts, arts education, and the nonprofit sector. We offer internship opportunities to gain hands-on experience, a chance to develop relationships with experienced professionals, an opportunity to make international contacts, and a behind-the-scenes look at the FotoFest Biennial 2022 programming.
Internships are open to undergraduate and graduate college students, artists, and individuals interested in the arts, from the U.S. and other countries.
Because of the nature and size of the organization, interns may be expected to perform duties outside of the following descriptions. However, these descriptions should be considered as regular duties.

The FotoFest Learning Program’s year-round school and community learning program, Literacy Through Photography (LTP), uses photography to stimulate visual literacy, comprehension, writing, and analytical thinking, promoting creative self-expression among students of a range of ages and abilities.
The LTP Intern will assist with the production of Biennial-related educational programming, collating metrics from the school year, and with various preparations for FotoFinish, the end-of-year exhibition of photographic and written works of over 1000 student participants from LTP residencies over the school year.
The LTP internship is a comprehensive look into nonprofit education. Our goal is that interns complete the semester with a well-rounded skill set that will enable them to tackle a diverse set of projects.
